Poet Looking For Publisher
I would like to publish a book
have a look, have a look
I have been writing for a while
just on impulse – quite a pile
there isn’t much to it
somehow I just do it
I admit as a poet
I often blow it.
that doesn’t really matter
often it makes things better
as each and every poem
consists of a flexible foam
but I’m guilty of the one crime
I try too hard for a clever rhyme
only sometimes, not all the time
sometimes I even break the rule
and I hope that that is cool.
